End of 2007 saw the arrival of the Croation oil exploration company INA who made seismographic measurements over an area of approximately 6400 square kilometers. The results of thus survey have not yet been released. This operation brought a lot of excitement to the otherwise sleepy little town on the edge of the Schwarzrand. The old part of the hotel was turned into offices and sleeping quarters for the visitors, and the hotel was a hub of activity for four months. |
